With its regularly changing specials board and the reassurance that all food is prepared on site, The Bugle Inn in Botley, Southampton offers a choice of both traditional and worldly meals.
The pub always stocks three quality ales, which carry the cask marque symbol of excellence.
With a chef hailing from Lebanon, the food influences naturally reflect this and aside from typically British cuisine there is an "if you fancy a change" menu. For those who dare to be different when dining, Friday and Saturday nights feature a Lebanese two-course set menu.
Almost every day there is something unique at The Bugle. On Sunday there is live jazz in the bar opposite the dining area and in the evening a rock band take to the floor from 9pm.
On Tuesday senior citizens can enjoy a lunchtime special of two courses for £7.00, on Wednesday fish and chips are just £7 and Thursday the pub hosts the best quiz in Botley.
Acoustic jamming sessions happen on the first Tuesday of each month, and on the last Tuesday of each month is the popular music quiz.
With such varied food and so much going on, this Botley pub has something for everyone. A flat screen TV is available in the bar area. There's a wonderful suntrap at the rear with outside decking area so you can enjoy your meal and/or drink inside or out. The conservatory at the rear is available to hire for functions etc and fits up to 30 people for sit down meals or alternatively can be used for a buffet.
